It was a magical night under the stars at Millbrook Winery. The Bernie Blend, a red wine that Bernie helped blend, was a huge success - a few bottles still left! It perfectly accompanied a night of music and dancing.
Bernie Plays The Blue Note
In August, 2021, The Bernie Williams Collective made their headline debut at the legendary Blue Note Jazz Club at its flagship location in New York City. The band performed an eclectic mix of Bernie’s original songs filled with Latin jazz and tropical rhythms, and the band’s unique new arrangements to some familiar classic covers to packed houses both nights. The night was closed with a eautfil rendition of Take me Out to the Ball game to honor his 16 year career as NY Yankees center fielder.
Bernie at the Hall of Fame
On September 8, 2021, Bernie was accompanied by legendary saxophonist Richie Cannata in performing the National Anthem to kick off the Class of 2020 Induction Ceremony for the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. Inducted that day were Larry Walker, Ted Simmons, Marvin Miller, and Bernie’s long-time teammate and close friend Derek Jeter.
